Meet Our Family

Shell
Shell has been a valued member of our team since 2012 and serves as our Lead Assistant. Originally from Summerfield, she is passionate about caring for patients and making sure they feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. Shell thrives in the close-knit, team-focused environment of our office and enjoys learning alongside Dr. Puckett and her coworkers, always willing to step in and help wherever needed. After spending many years working in a dental lab, Shell especially appreciates the opportunity to interact directly with patients and build meaningful relationships. Outside of the office, she enjoys painting, crafting, gardening, caring for her chickens and cat, and relaxing with a good book or Bible study. She loves unwinding outdoors while listening to nature, fueled by her favorite caramel pecan coffee—and nothing makes her day better than seeing patients leave with a smile.

Brooke
Brooke has been a valued member of our team since 2015 and serves as our Front Desk & Patient Care Coordinator. Growing up in Trinity, she developed a strong sense of community and advocacy—something she brings to work every day by ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and well cared for. Brooke loves working alongside such a great team and building meaningful relationships with both staff and patients. Outside the office, she enjoys puzzles, mini golf, fishing, and spending quality time with her family. You’ll often find her unwinding with a good book or a puzzle—powered by her go-to black coffee, no creamer, no sugar. Nothing makes Brooke’s day better than a smooth-running schedule and a happy, well-supported patient experience.

Erica
Erica Adkins Tickle, RDH, has been a valued member of Dr. Puckett’s dental team since 2013. She grew up in Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Salem College. Erica graduated Valedictorian of the GTCC Dental Hygiene Program in 2008 and was honored to speak at the commencement ceremony. She recently received her Certification in Administering Local Anesthesia. Erica lives on a farm in Reidsville with her husband, Joshua, and their children, Ava and Levi. She enjoys outdoor activities, crafting, and breeding Silkie chickens and Mini Goldendoodles. She is proud to serve in a local, Christian-based dental practice, providing compassionate care while supporting patients’ overall well-being.

Heather
Heather is a Registered Dental Hygienist and is certified in local anesthesia. She chose a career in dental hygiene because she loves staying active and caring for people, which shines through in the way she connects with patients every day. Heather focuses on preventive care, including cleanings, monitoring gum health, taking X-rays, and helping patients understand how to maintain healthy smiles between visits. Her days are filled with patient care and great conversations, and she especially enjoys building long-term relationships and helping patients feel comfortable at every appointment. Heather’s top oral health tip is simple but powerful: floss—everyone needs to floss! What she loves most about working here is the people—the team and patients alike—creating a supportive, welcoming, and positive environment. Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and her dogs, along with running and lifting to unwind. Her go-to self-care habit is exercise, her family always makes her smile, and her coffee order of choice is a sugar-free vanilla latte.

Carmen
Carmen joined our team in 2025 and serves as a dental assistant. Originally from Mexico, she brings a positive, upbeat energy to the office and loves chatting with patients to help them feel relaxed and at ease. One of her favorite parts of the job is getting to know patients while laughing and connecting with her coworkers, especially enjoying time with “the girls” and the supportive team atmosphere. Outside of the office, Carmen enjoys binge-watching history and mystery shows, traveling, spending time with her kids and family, and trying foods from different cultures. She prefers tea over coffee and loves unwinding by catching up with friends. Carmen's warmth and sense of humor make her a favorite among both patients and teammates.

Katie
Katie is a Supportive Office Assistant and Floater who plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly behind the scenes. She supports both patients and the clinical team by jumping in wherever she’s needed—helping around the office, keeping spaces clean and organized, and making sure everything is stocked and ready for the day. Katie’s days are filled with bringing patients back to their rooms, assisting the team, and ensuring both patients and staff have a seamless, positive experience. What Katie enjoys most about her role is the hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn how every part of the dental office works while working closely with both patients and the team. She especially loves talking with patients and helping them feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit. Katie values the supportive, welcoming environment of the office and appreciates gaining valuable experience as she prepares for future schooling in the dental field. Outside of work, Katie enjoys coloring, reading, and shopping. One of her favorite parts of the workday is getting to know patients as she brings them back to their rooms, and her hidden talent is staying organized and keeping things running smoothly. Above all, Katie wants patients to know that she truly enjoys connecting with them and helping make their visit as comfortable and positive as possible.
